Lovely Lady Liberty

Today’s Shutter Sisters post is about challenging yourself to use a different perspective in your photography this summer. And I just read a blog post by Jules where she talks about finding her own photographic style that I think relates nicely to what the Shutter Sisters post is talking about.

When I went back to digital (we were digital for a few years starting in 1999, but abandoned it until 2005), I felt free to finally experiment with my photography. I am constantly looking for a new way to take the “same old” vacation photographs.

Here’s one of my favorites from a few years back. If you don’t recognize this American landmark, leave a comment and I’ll help you out!

  1. Nice! I’ve never seen this lady in that angle before. Great!

  2. That’s a great new angle. You can tell what the photo is, but a totally different take on her.

  3. Lovely angle! Thank you for the comment on my blog and directing me to Shutter Sisters, very helpful.
